We arrived in Grand Rapids on 12 July to setup for the 30-day campaign hosted by American Legion Post 2. We are situated Greenleaf Landscaping Supply’s property located at 231 North Park ST NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49544. That property runs along US 131 near the West Michigan Whitecaps baseball stadium. That location has the added advantage of having the White Pine Trail running through it between the expressway and the area we place the crosses.
As you can see from this picture, we’ve added a few things to our setup.
This tent gives folks a place to rest, to meet with our hosts, to obtain printed information and to reflect on their experience. Water is also available. Chairs were added after this picture was taken.
American Legion Post 2 donated the new banner you see and the one just like it on the other side of the red tent. We also have a new 20 foot flagpole with a solar night light.
