You might be used to seeing the Veteran Suicide Awareness Presentation at the corner of Huron River Drive and Veterans Memorial Drive in Ypsilanti Township on the days leading up to Memorial Day. You may be pleased to know that we are prepared to do that again in 2023. If you would like to come out and help or just visit with us when we are placing new crosses, please go to our Signup Genius page and let us know you are coming.

We would like to find a new venue in a different town, even a different county, that will allow us to do the presentation yet this spring. That means we should be setting up sometime between 15 March and 1 April at a new location. We are also looking for places to do the presentation during other times of the year. If you know of a place that has a large piece of open land near a well-used road that might let us set up the presentation, please contact us to make your suggestion. Also, these presentations go best when a sponsoring organization, such as American Legion Post 141 Riders, come out to help place the crosses, sending a couple people each day, different people each day, for the entire month. That really helps to get the word out while reducing the amount of work for any one person. If you know of a group that would like to sign up to help with the presentation, please have someone from that group contact us. Info@22aday.org or (734) 726-4101.
